People, animals and plants: three worlds whose harmonious cooperation remains more of an aspiration rather than a reality, and the discomfort will not be able to cancel the successful efforts of humanity to subjugate nature.

The less spectacular attempts of Korean everyday culture, yet to be reconciled with the flora is the work "eco echo" in the Hongdae district of Seoul, and also registers the notable influence that capitalist interests exert.

A perfectly well ordered community life among people is demonstrated on the border between South Korea and North Korea. Here precise rules for the visitor groups, there collectivist idyllic village as a spectacle for the curious eyes of others. The work "Performing a Village", reconstructs the phenomenon based on text quotes and pictures from the Internet.

Dogs often seem to serve as a substitute with dysfunctional human communities. Possibly one finds in the love towards the domestic animal even traces of an opposition against the global destruction of nature and the attempt to regain a primal respect for the animal. "Purloined Standards" documents the creativity by the construction of improvised dog-houses in Korea in regard to this question of the relations between human and animal.

The different exhibition scene focal-points alternate from sadness, absurdity and life, but because of the large number of ideas that are expressed, a closer look reveals the forms of the arrangement opens a reservoir of micro-strategies, which deserves to be taken seriously.
